I took the family up to "Portraits of Astronomers", an exhibition of photographs by Lucinda Douglas-Menzies at the Armagh County Museum last night.
It contains roughly 30 black-and-white portraits of current British astronomers, including the likes of Bernard Lovell, Roger Penrose, Stephen Hawking and Patrick Moore. Many of them are accompanied by quotes from the astronomers on what got them interested in astronomy.
A very interesting exhibit if you're in the area.
