Hi
Unfortunately it was cloudy for the initial part of the night and although it did clear eventually it was just too late on this occasion.
Better luck next week.

There were four of us with 3 telescopes -2 refractors and 1 reflector. We had a quick look at Venus before the cloud gobbled it up. We observed the star cluster Melotte 111 in Coma Berenices. One needs 5 degrees field of view, which I'm blessed to have in 70mm apochromatic refractor. The 2 refractors(5-inch and 6-inch) split Castor into 3 components just before we all went home.
Yours, Aubrey.
