Midlands AC: Next Meeting - Tue December 21st: Apollo 11

The next Midlands Astronomy Club (MAC) public lecture takes place in the Presbyterian Hall, High Street, Tullamore, as follows:

Date & Time: Tuesday December 21st @ 8pm.
Speaker/Topic: Mr. Seanie Morris, MAC Secretary
Title: What was it really like on Apollo 11?
Admission: €2.00, all are welcome.

There will be a full scale replica model (1:96) of the Saturn 5 + Apollo 11 crafts too! There is a raffle on the night for a prize or two included in the admission fee. MAC will also look forward to what's happening in the sky this coming period - there is lots to cover in December!

Due to the ice and snow, which is to get worse tomorrow (Tuesday), our lecture Tuesday night will be moved to Tuesday December 21st, same time, venue and topic. Please pass on this message to anyone you believe should know so as not to attempt travel.
