Midlands AC: Next Meeting - Tue January 11th: Apollo 11

The next Midlands Astronomy Club (MAC) public lecture (and the first of 2011) takes place in the Presbyterian Hall, High Street, Tullamore, as follows:

Date & Time: Tuesday January 11th @ 8pm.
Speaker/Topic: Mr. Seanie Morris, MAC Secretary
Title: What was it really like on Apollo 11?
Admission: €2.00, all are welcome.

There will be a full scale replica model (1:96) of the Saturn 5 + Apollo 11 crafts too! There is a raffle on the night for a prize or two included in the admission fee. MAC will also look forward to what's happening in the sky this coming period! We hope this time round that I get to give the lecture as the previous 2 attempts in December were thwarted by the icy weather!
