MAC presents: Messier Marathon Challenge - Fri Mar 4th was created by Seanie_Morris
Midlands Astronomy Club invites you to come to our Messier Marathon Observing Challenge (tomorrow) Friday night March 4th. MAC members will be there with scopes and binoculars and Challenge charts for all. We'll start at our Observing Site in Clonminch about a mile outside Tullamore.
Directions are available upon request via the club email address of midlandsastronomy 'at' gmail 'dot' com.
No charge, wrap up well, bring pencils (not pens, ink freezes), something to write on, a red torch, easy chair, flask of soup and some non-greasy nibbles, and anything else you think you might need...
...we'll last for as long as we can!
Clear Skies,
Seanie Morris.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Same here Paul, I reckon only fog will pose a problem, but hopefully we'll get a few hours out at least.

Odd looking for tonight. Cloudy but with some patches of sky showing through. Latest radar from:

shows that there might be some breaks later...
...what to do.
