For those of you who have not visited Cosmos or Annaharvey before, we have everything we need onsite to make Cosmos as enjoyable as possible. This includes Observing at night on Friday and Saturday nights, dinner on Saturday night (limited numbers), refreshments each day (included in the admission fee) and plenty of room for both the talks and the exhibits.
Annaharvey Farm is an equestrian farm and stud run by the Deverell family for a long time. 3 miles outside of Tullamore it is set on acres and acres of green fields and trot runs. Horse riding is available to visitors but this is something you have to organise yourself. You can see more about Annaharvey Farm here: www.annaharveyfarm.ie

Hi Seanie,
I'm considering attending this event, do you know if there would be anywhere local that would be suitable for parking a campervan? (not a member of our famed itinerant community) Sadly most campsites don't open until May or June.

Hi Scott_Storm,
Unfortuantely, Tullamore doesn't have a campervan site nearby, however I would advise you to phone Annaharvey Farm on 057 9343544 and ask them about parking etc. there. They might have done this sort of thing before as Hunter Trials and Showjumping have been hosted by them all the time. Make sure you mention you're coming to Cosmos and were talking to me.
Were you in Athlone (Golden Island SC) yesterday and the person who mentioned this to us at our display stand?
Regards,
Seanie.

Hi Seanie,
is it okay if I bring a few astronomy books with me to see if I can sell them on? Am also thinking of bringing Sky at Night mags (several years' worth!) if anyone would be interested in buying them (cd's included).
