Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) in conjucntion with DCU are organising for a Russian Cosmonaut to visit Dublin in a few weeks time.

He will give a public lecture in The Helix, DCU

Doors open at 7pm. Tea/Coffee served at 7:30pm. Lecture starts at 8pm sharp.
Entry is FREE.
Family and friends are more than welcome.

I will liaise with DIAS & DCU on behalf of IFAS.
DIAS has invited Members of IFAS astronomy clubs to bring telescopes on the night for a short observing session at the Helix directly after the lecture (lecture finish time approx 9:30pm. Members of the public will also be attending on the night, so this is a great opportunity for IFAS clubs to promote themselves through outreach and hopefully get new members.
