Next Tullamore AS Lecture - Tues Feb 15th was created by Seanie_Morris
Hi folks,
Tullamore Astronomical Society's next lecture is on Tuesday next, February 15th:
Seanie Morris, Secretary, TAS - Spring Skies With A Telescope
It will be on in the Order of Malta Training Room, Tanyard, Tullamore at 8pm. People are invited to bring their own telescopes into the meeting, where Seanie will demonstrate how best to maintain and use your telescope, especially if it was a recent present from Santa. This will give folks the chance for an in-session Q&A about their telescopes during the meeting. He will also show some objects on view in the coming months ahead.
All are welcome to attend, admission is free, and there will be light snacks afterwards. Weather permitting, there will be observing from the adjoining carpark.

Many thanks to those who came on Tuesday night. We had a fabulous clear night, timed perfectly for the lecture! So, I hurried through it, and we all went out in to the car park to do observing. A number of us were there till almost 11pm! And it was freezing!
Next TAS meeting is on Tuesday March 1st. Details later.
