National Star Party in Greece, 29-31 July was created by Vagelis Tsamis
Hi all,
In case someone will be travelling to Greece during the end of July,
our National Star Party this year is taking place at an alt. 1420m site, near Grevena city, Mount Pindos, northern Greece, July 29-31.
No fees at all, accomodation is free in camping tents (bring yours).
Perfectly dark skies guarantied(!), hundreds of Greek amateurs are expected to attend.
More info and accomodation options: astroexormisi2011.ofa.gr/?page_id=252

Hi Dave,
This is our national meeting, which takes place once every year in a different mountain. This year it is organized by the OFA, the club of Thessaloniki, which is in northern Greece.
We continue visiting Parnon every month. Our club's next meeting there, is on July 1-2-3.
Of course, you are welcome to come to Parnon anytime, even in winter!
spartastronomy.gr/index.php/el/events - it's in greek, but you can google-translate it, it's quite a funny translation!
Astrogreetings,
Vagelis
