Hi guys,
If Ronan or anyone else has an thoughts of a club for the Wexford and/or South East area I would definately be interested.
I'm based near Wexford town. It's a shame such a big area in this end of the country is void of a club, can't believe there
is no one interested in astronomy.
Cheers, Reggy

There are probably lots of people interested Reggy, more so for those along the coast (Gorey-Rosslare-New Ross), but they just don't know where to go!
Anyone who is thinking of starting a club down there should:
a) Find a location that is good for meeting up, not observing, for chats and beginners lectures;
b) Then find a suitable and easy-to-locate area for observing away from light pollution, then;
c) Put it in the newspaper, which would normally be done for free, of your date and time to next meet
d) Also make up posters to put up in shops, the library, train station, even Church bulletin board.
Then, hopefully, enough like-minded people will come together and BAM!, you got yourself an astronomy club!
Seanie.

Thanks Seanie, will try to organise something, it's just adds another great dimension to the hobby/obsession when you can share it with others.
Cheers
