Hi All,
As part of Global Astronomy Month, the club will be running public observing sessions at O'Callaghans Strand in Limerick from 8pm onwards, everyday from the 1st to the 7th of April, weather permitting. On Thursday the 5th we have a club meeting as per usual in Mary I college so we'll be starting the observing at 9.30pm instead. The club will have its telescopes there as well as the high power binoculars, you dont need to bring along your scope if you dont want to but you can if you wish. This is a public free event for all levels of interest, all are welcome. :scope:

Depending on the weather and the state of my college assignment progressions, I might be able to bring some of my scopes out to help one of the days Mon through Wed. I've got work on Thursday through Sunday evenings so will not be there those days.

Best of luck with it SAC, with the schools out for Easter, it sounds like it should be a good series of events to run.

thanks guys,
it'll only work out if the weather plays ball for atleast one of the nights, looks like we might have missed out by a week or so, last weeks weather was phenomenal. !!
