Solarfest 2012 - Dunsink - 23rd June *** FULLY BOOKED ***

Registration + Tea/Coffee @ 10:30am

For lunch, tea/coffee will be provided.
However, please bring your own packed lunch

We expect to finish up at approx. 17:00

If you have a telescope capable of solar viewing, please feel free to bring it along.
Weather permitting, we hope to have a solar observing session during the lunch break.
A tour of the observatory will also be provided.

At this stage, the room is booked to capacity so I obviously can't guarantee a seat at this stage.
However, we usually find that a few people will end up forgetting about it or change their mind at the last minute.
If you want to come along, we will certainly try and accommodate you both.

An excellent day at Dunsink with a really great turnout and top quality presentations. There were even some members of Public dropped by plus a few RTE folks who were broadcasting from another Dunsink building.

The only downside was a lack of the sun showing itself - but that didn't dampen spirits at all.

A huge thanks to Michael O'Connell for all hard work involded in organising the event and to Dunsink and DIAS for hosting it in a wonderful facility.
