Would any IAS/SDAS astronomers care to join me at Martello Tower, Sandymount about 8.30pm on Friday 1st June? On the menu, I shall be observing the Gibbous Moon and the planet Saturn with my 6.2" apochromatic refractor. Anyone else is free to bring their equipment.

Hi Aubrey,
I'll be down on Friday - weather permitting. What time were you planning to be there?

Meteireann are promising dry with clear spells tonight in Dublin. Let's see if they are right.

Unfortunately, we were clouded out at Sandymount. But it was great meeting up with Bob O'Brien and Liam Smyth -chatting about the upcoming transit, double stars and Lunar observations.
