Hi Eamonn
I plan to go to this meeting, I am a BAA member also but I think this meeting is open to any person that is interested in attending if I am not mistaken. You probably know some of the speakers and those organising the event through your research I guess.

Best wishes and clear skies
Mike

Is there any indication available on admission cost?
Is it likely to be closer to 20quid or one of these conferences that charge 200quid+?
Thanks,
Michael.

Mike,

Anybody can attend the meeting. You don't have to be a member of the BAA.

Michael

Usually these type of meetings under the umbrella of the BAA are about £10 - £20.
I have attended other meetings in the past and they are anything from £5 to £10.
I understand that this pays for the venue and tea and biscuits.
I attended one meeting in the past for an extra £6 and got a 3 course meal. V. good value!

Eamonn

BTW,booking flights with Ryanair you can purchase them for about €40. There are B&Bs near OU for about £25-30 per night
I normally stay in a B&B as this is the nearest accommodation to OU. Walking distance.

Thanks Eamonn.
I think I might fly over and back on the same day.
Michael.
