The next Midlands Astronomy Club (MAC) public lecture
takes place in the Presbyterian Hall, High Street, Tullamore, as follows:

Title: In Anticipation of the Perseids Meteor Shower
Admission: €2.00, all are welcome.
Seanie will preview this year's Perseids Meteor Shower, the peak of which occurs on the night of August 12th/13th. That same weekend on Saturday August 11th, MAC will be hosting an Observing Session and Camp Night under the Star at our Site in Clonminch. Admission to the lecture is €2.00, all are welcome with details of the Perseids StarBQ and the latest club magazine (Réalta) will be available. See
