Oberving in Trooperstown Fri 9th Nov was created by michael_murphy
The weather is looking good for Friday evening. Is anyone on for an observing session in Trooperstown?
Meet at Lynhams hotel at 9.30?
I'll check the weather at 7PM to confirm we are going ahead.
Michael.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Can't make it Michael. I have a very early start in the morning.
I hope the weather picks up and some of the lads get out to a great spot.

I don't think you'll be missing much other than clouds .
Ah well, hopefully we won't get humiliated by SA tomorrow and the lads at the Sugarloaf get some clear skies.

Well, it's in the industrial estate - only good for lunar/ planetary, and there's enough light to see what your doing
At least there's unobstructed view of pole star and the buildings aren't too high where I go.
So in that respect it's perfect.
Wouldn't recommend bringing any deep sky kit, save the room for a flask of hot chocolate.
