Happy Christmas Everyone!
We can all relax in 2013 - there are no Doomsday predictions
? Let's hope it becomes known as the year of the great comet (c'mon C/2011 L4 (PanSTARRS), don't let us down).
Santa was good to me this year, his elves can be persuaded to overlook dubious behaviour (just like Garda Superintendents), see the pic of the new C11 (third-hand actually) in my back yard. The local light pollution
and the sheet of hardboard used to screen the telescope are also visible. I'm looking forward to putting it through its paces next year.
