thats the spirit :)
I'll be out again tonight aswell, although for not as long cos I just wont be able to last as long.
I failed to mention that we got in a few doubles aswell, like albireo, the double double and a number of doubles in cepheus, forgot to check out the multiple in cancer you mentioned in another post, must do it tonight !

We can thank John O'Mahoney for "obsessionator", who came up with it after I GOTO'd the scope a number of years back... : cheer:

Wow, that's some tally Dave, "totally awesome" seems a fair assessment. Congrats to all of you. And you're still not satisfied!!

I sometimes think that the generally bad weather in Ireland actually helps sustain an interest in observing, because we never feel sated, and are always waiting impatiently for the next opportunity. Be careful you don't get too much of a good thing during this spell of nice weather. ;)

well, when you get tired of looking at galaxies, you can switch over to double stars, its one of the great things about this hobby, nobody can ever say they've seen it all.... :)

Did some satellite tracking tonight, then tried Jupiter and realized I had just missed the Ganymede transit  , then tried a few doubles as the clouds rolled in, just finished 15mins ago, so not too bad a night.
So have our clear skies gone again now for another 4 months ?? I hope not....
