Hope you all had a great day. Sorry I couldn’t stay around longer I’m just a wee bit busy at the moment as you know :>). I really enjoyed chatting to everyone at the event; also was really impressed at how Dunsink looked the place looked amazing.

Valerie and I certainly had a great day -a big thank you to Michael O'Connell for organizing the whole event. We were spoiled rotten with the 5 very interesting lectures and the day just flew. It's not every weekend one gets the opportunity to hear 2 lectures on Total Solar Eclipses!!
And finally, seeing those 2 huge prominences on the Sun was such a huge thrill.

Thanks Michael and IFAS, and hopefully,(thanks to Terry and John for googling it on the spot), We might see a partial solar eclipse in Lanzarote in November.
