The 2nd Annual Robert Boyle Summer School will take place 4th – 7th July 2013, in Lismore, Co Waterford.
The event explores Ireland’s scientific heritage and the position of science in our culture. It consists of talks by world leading thinkers, walks through one of Ireland’s most charming small towns and a tour of the beautiful and varied surrounds of the Blackwater Valley and West Waterford. The school is a sociable gathering with space for dialogue and discussion; there will also be costumed re-enactments of experiments that changed the way we see the world.
