Ronan, Marcus and all the team at Galway Astronomy Club,
I had a wonderful time at the Festival.
All great talks and the exhibition was the biggest I have seen this year.
The prizes were all high quality and a huge range of them.
Great to meet others and make new friends.
The food was brilliant.
This was the best Galway Astro Fest in all the years I have attended.
All I can say for those who missed this one make sure you put this in your calender for 2015,
you will not be disappointed.

What a brilliant Astronomy Festival.
Congratulations to Ronan, Brian, Marcus and all at Galway Astronomy Club,
First for the invite to attend and display our range of products , and secondly, for looking after us when we were setting up, and throughout the day.
Thanks also to Roy, for the great help.
We had some great chats with a great many people, and we loved nothing better than yapping astronomy, and about astronomy equipment.
We heard a few of the talks, and gladly handed over our raffle prizes to delighted winners at the end.
And to top it all off, we stayed on for Brian's Table Quiz, formed a team with Dave and Yvonne from Dublin Stargazers group, picked an awesome team name, had a good few laughs, and luckily, our brilliantly named "Team Brian MacGabhann" won with no bribes and or cheating
Looking forward to next year already!

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Many thanks to all at the Galway Astronomy Club, all were incredibly friendly, it was great to see Carl and Stephen with their fantastic range of equipment for sale, I had to keep slapping my hand away from my wallet  .
I'd like to echo Eamonn's comment, if you missed this year, get there next year, you will not be disappointed.

Great day of Astronomy talks and gadgets..
A big shout out to all the committee of the Galway
astronomy club for putting on a great show..
Excellent speakers on the day and fabulous trade stands..
Unlike lunartic, I did end up putting my hand into my wallet.
So I do need to say thank you to Carl and the guys from
Scopes and Space for all there help.
And a special thank you to Stephen and Vicky of Ktec telescopes
for all your generosity and helping remove me from the cash in my wallet...(Worth every penny).
The only problem I see now for the guys of the Galway Astronomy Club
is: How do you better that next year? I offer ye my services.
Cheers Roy :scope:

Many thanks to all at the Galway Astronomy Club from the NIAAS guys
Great weekend, fine talks, superb displays (that 16" Orion go-to!!!), lovely dinner, excellent conversation, and Geraldine even won an ipod mini!
What more could you ask for?
Looking forward to the next one already.

Hi all,
I just want to give a big thank you to everyone at Galway astronomy club, on what a was great weekend. I want to give Ronan and Markus and the rest of the committee a big thank you for inviting us. As Scopes and Space is just seven months old this was our first big out door event and the response form everyone was overwhelming, for that I can’t thank everyone enough.
Ronan, I have to admit it you got me good after dinner, with this is Carl’s life, I nearly died in my seat when you started showing the old photos of back in the day it was so funny. BTW Myleene klass asked me to say hi. Thanks again for the award I really appreciated it.
To everyone who attended the event I want to say a very big thank you for your very kind words. It’s you who make the event possible and very memorable; it was a pleasure meeting every one of you. There is not much more I can say buy roll on Galway Astrofest 2015.
Clear Skies,
Carl.
