What a weekend! One of our best crowds ever, great speakers, visitors, exhibitors... the whole experience really. Sadly, there was no observing Friday or Saturday night. It's the first time in 9 years that there was no night time observing at Cosmos. Still, we had various views of the Sun on Friday and Sunday, so we still got some 'hard core' astronomy done. ;)

Thanks to everyone who helped and attended the event, a winner for sure. :grouphug:

All from Cork had a great weekend. Thank lads from Midland club for hosting a great weekend again.

Just one suggestion!
Think quiz worked better other years when groups split up. More sociable and better fun. Brainy people from IAA dispersed! :p

I concur. Might have to bring a roll of Gaffer Tape next year to tie up those Brainiac's and hide them in a broom closet till after the quiz :D - always a great laugh and we all know now that Constantinople used to be called Istanbul :woohoo:

A really great weekend, lots to do and great people to meet. We are looking forward to next year already
