Explore Scientific 20mm Ultrawide (100 degree AFOV) SOLD was created by TrevorDurity
Anyone in need of a premium ultra-wide ocular?
I'm selling my seldom (around 6 or 7 times) used Explore Scientific 20mm 100 degree AFOV nitrogen purged eyepiece. I've moved back to the city so my big dob is getting little use, let alone this EP, which is pretty much wasted on me at the moment. Equivalent of the TeleVue Ethos (some say they cloned the design). There are plenty of reviews on those other forums.
Provided sharp MASSIVE views on my 325mm dob. Very very immersive.
Our friends in TS are selling them here:
www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_inf...eitwinkelokular.html
A word of warning. This eyepiece is massive. I knew this before buying but seeing it in the flesh was still a shock. Make sure you have enough balance on your scope. Weighs almost a kilo. Nice eye-relief for glasses (certainly enough for me).
The eyepiece is in pristine condition. Packed in it's box when not in use.
Can be picked up within reasonable distance from Galway (Athlone, Limerick, Castlebar, etc).
The other EPs aren't included - just there to show a size comparison. The one second from the front-left is a typical 20mm Kellner.
Open to offers.

Hi John, thanks for the offer. Sorry for the delayed response (travelling at the moment). Cost me quite a bit more than that (purchased in the US but customs and shipping added quite a bit). Would be willing to do €250 but can't really go lower.
Thanks,
Trev

Hi Trevor,
Thank you for getting back to me. Would you do 250 with postage? Does it come with its original box?
Thanks,
John
