I know of a couple of folks that have various SkyWatcher scopes (reflectors), and they all seem to be very happy with their equipment!

I got a 10" Skywatcher Dob from Andy in North Down about 1.5 years ago.

Absolutely delighted with it, the optics are fantastic and now I am no expert but a number of "experts" at IA SBBQ last summer felt it was superb. (Lucky me!)

Use it for a mix of Galaxy and Planet watching and I am a real amateur.
Aim to motorise it in the future.

Skywatcher have generally good scopes, Andy had a skywatcher MAK for (5") for sale at the whirlpool for a great price, you should give him a call and see what he has to offer.
