recently i got 3 plossls 2nd hand off the web, they are televue 8, 15, and 20 mm plossls. how are they, in my inexpirienced opionion? fantastic. im using a borrowed scope, an atlas explorer 5 inch reflector. usually i see more with a set of low power binoculars than with this scope and i had used it only to see objects too faint in the binos, but it was hazy , as if not collomated, or if the mirror was bad quality. i tried these eyepieces out with it last week and the scope is great. stars are pin point sharp, and even under a bright moon i can see andromeda! it turns out the stock eyepieces with the scope were junk. i havnt got a chance to use the 8mm, as the seeing wasnt good enough, but views of the pliades with the 20 mm are great! the moon, well, it feels as if your hovering just above it !! when i have more expirience i will give a better review, but in my opinion, top notch eye pieces!
