Good Children's Book

One of the books I brought back with me from Mt. Palomar was
"The Planet Hunter: The Story Behind What Happened to Pluto"
by Elizabeth Rusch (Author), Guy Francis (Illustrator).
The book is specifically targeted at children, and is the story of Mike Brown, who works at Palomar.
Mike Brown is the discoverer of Sedna, Eris and Dysnomia, Makemake, Haumea and many other Trans-Neptunian objects.
As such, he's the man virtually responsible for ensuring the demise of Pluto's planetary status.
It's available on Amazon for about £6.50 (about 9 Euro)in hardback and isn't bad at all as an encouraging book for budding astronomers.
Mike loves it himself because as he says, " The book includes, amazingly, drawings of my childhood dog, my green 1965 VW bug, and, best of all, a drawing of my daughter as she might look when she is a few years older".
I was lucky to get my copy signed by Mike himself.
