we won't see it from here, but I came across this on a trawl of the web earlier and it might be of interest. Saturn's cloud-enshrouded moon Titan will occult a couple of stars on the night of November 14th. The track passes across SW Europe but it should be dramatic to see a star so close to the satellite. Check out;
despa.obspm.fr/%7Esicardy/titan/titan.html
the site points out that the waning gibbous Moon will be only about 8 degrees from Titan!
will bring back memories of the occultation of 28 Sgr a few years ago by Titan which was seen from here.
clear skies for the eclipse!
