Snapped this at the Pheonix park last night. It was much more obvious in reality, but I could only get a quick snap. Havent seen one of these in a while.

Lovely shot! I saw one this evening on the way home from college but for the first time I didn't have my 20D in my bag 
Ah well, great work. I have a light pillar shot from maybe 2 years ago. Today was only my 2nd time to see one.

Lucky you had the camera with you Al, Nice shot, it was really clear and transpartent for a while after sundown last night 
You don't see many of these sunpillars, it's nice when it all works out
