Oh yea, before someone asks, we only saw one Venus.

Same thing happened us. Myself, Shane Culleton, John O'Neill, Dave McDonald and Dave Power all *staggered* out of a pub in Sallins at around the same time. Shane passed the comment about seeing Venus during the day just before we opened the door to go out. As soon as we got out, lo and behold, there was Venus. Quite bright actually and very easy to see.Saw the daytime Venus (for the first time!) on Saturday (17/12/05) at 15:00 during what was a beautifully sunny winters day. What a sight! Difficult to pick out at first but once you find it you can easily locate it again. Strange to see it shining in a bright blue daytime sky.

Hard to miss Venus these days, its really bright, but its a pity that its in a low area of the ecliptic.

It still amazes me that once you know how, and where, to look that it is so easy to spot Venus in Daylight. It always makes me grin

Yeah, you almost feel like you're witnessing some kind of daytime secret that, in reality, is there for everyone to see but nobody bothers to look.
