Hi all,
I've just been informed that I forgot to remind you that our Solar day at
Carnfunnock is tomorrow, Sat 19th July!
"Irish Astronomical Association's 'Solar Day' at Carnfunnock Country Park,
Coast Road, Larne, from 2pm to about 5-ish.
We'll have a selection of telescopes & filters, including a Coronado, so
you can see the Sun through Baader Astro-Solar, Thousand Oaks Optical, by
projection & in H-Alpha.
There is also an amazing collection of Sundials in the Park, and we'll have
an exhibition & talks, so there will be something for everyone even if it's
cloudy. Normal admission charges apply, except for IAA members bringing
telescopes etc.
