Solar Activity - Jul 18th

Hi,

Had a peek at the sun for the first time in a while today and its freckled with spots! Some of the larger ones were near the center so I'd imagine there is a fair chance of some aurora activity over the next week.

Anyone at the IAA Solar day must have had great viewing!

I got my first look at it in ages in Friday with an 11" and it was stunning, loads of sun spot groups and the detail was quite amazing.
