Just a note to say that we saw this faint comet last night in Draco. I had an approximate idea of its location and eventually found a suspect fuzzy object. Tonight I confirmed it to be in the correct location in Cartes du Ceil right beside a distinctive pattern of faint stars.
I would have difficulty in putting a magnitude on it due to high cloud and a rising Moon but it was just at the limit of direct viewing visibility through the 222mm F5.8 dobsonian with the 30 mm eyepiece. It might have had a broad short tail, difficult to be sure.
I also saw the Cat's eye nebula close by. Much brighter than I expected with a spectacular torquise green colour. It is also very small and easily overlooked as another star.
