Success in Kerry too.
First I located it in 7x50's and it was indeed much brighter than when seen last on friday (20th) Could see a tain now in the binoculars for more than half the field width making it about 3 drgrees long.
Set up the telescope and pointed it with the Telrad at what I thought was it and was delighted to see it centered in the eyepiece. I reckon that it would now be an easy naked eye object under dark skies.
In the telescope (222mm F5.8 Dob) I could see the bright coma and the stellar like core and the tail could be followed for nearly 4 degrees before the high cloud rolled in, fore barer of more rain no doubt.

I also got a look form Maynooth tonight. I couldn't see a tail in my 10x50s and I couldn't see it with the Naked eye but I'm putting that down to poor seeing and light-pollution because a careful analysis in binoculars leads me to estimate the brightness at about magnitude 4.5.
