Bart, M13 was about five and a half degrees away, and tonight and saturday night it will be even closer! Only about 3 degrees away - there is a possibility that the tail will cover over M13 - now how often does that happen?
I hope to get some more shots if these clouds will go away!

How far out of the field of view do you think M13 is? Could you possibly catch the two together tomorrow night when they are a bit closer do you think? That would be one stunning image!

Excellent image Keith. Well done!
I've only seen the comet once about a couple of weeks ago just as it was moving into the evening sky as well as morning. Irish weather has stymied subsequent attempts (and the odd session in the local!).
