Promise - this is my last shot of Comet SWAN near globular cluster M13. The skies cleared very nicely for me last night, but I actually could'nt now see this comet with the naked eye, so it is fading it seems, and I just missed the tail going over M13!
It was a nice sight in binoculars, this is a 2 minute exposure plus three dark frames, ISO 800, canon 300D, 85mm lens at f2.8
I'd like to put all of the last 3 night s shots into one frame to show the comet's motion. and I think the tail has grown longer???

Hi Keith,
Wonderful image! I understand that the tail length is about 3 degrees.
I can just make out some filamentary detail at a squeeze.
I tried imaging it last night, but had problems with clouds. Trying to duck & weave between them. No luck this time.
Look forward to see the multiple positions of the comet over the period you took those shots.

Hi Keith,
Nice image.
Did you Image Process it?
Also, which method of focus did you use?
(I find Canon Lenses difficult to focus - the barrel is very sensitive and not tight),
