Yeah, I guess it's a combination of the 1000mm less focal length on the 8 inch + the 6.3 reducer.
Can't believe I left that connected! I had been testing it on the refractor to see if I could get away without the expensive WO reducer and thought I had still left it on that. So easy to make silly mistakes. Well, there's always next time!

Nope, I believe it's really the same chip, just without the Bayer layer on it to increase sensitivity. Got it so I could autoguide better; the NexImage just isn't sensitive enough. So basically should have the same mag factor as the basic Toucam.
