Cheers guys. Dave, that's one of the cool things about the short focal length of the Megrez. At 621mm you can get nice fields even with such a small chip
Would really have class if the moon passed over it. Still it was such a lovely sight.
Hey Ronan, what camera are you using? You could get less noise by using a lower ISO. It would require longer shots though. I would also say to try to stack some images but I guess that wouldn't work for NLCs.
One option would be to get a cheap but very fast lens, e.g. my Minolta 50mm f1.7 only cost about 50 quid on eBay. At f1.7 you could get away with using a very low ISO.
