Great images there! Just wondering has anyone tried snapping the sun just as its setting?

hi mathew
I managed to get the setting sun today, using a 300mm lens on the camera.
Also shot the sun through my binos solar filter with the camera, both spots were visible through a 300mm lens, and managed to get them with the webcam too.
I havent got a chance to see yet how they turn out as I am recharging the battery, for some "athmospheric" lunar shots tonight.
Hope to have the pics processed (webcam ones too!!!) by tommorrow!!!
Looks like a good seeing night tonight down here in waterford!!!
