Then let me see it the way the gods intended!

It updated now Seannie. Thanks for pointing it out. It looked nasty when I zoomed in!

Yep, it looks more smoother around the edges now! :)

Thanks for the tips, I did most of those, except for the gain, which I had up high, and had gamma really low. I'll have to play around with it more. The cam wasn't on auto, I was using WcCtrl to control it. I'm pretty happy with them considering I've only used it on four nights, and it has successfully got me out observing reguarly, last year I think four nights was probably my total annual observation number. The Saturn images aren't my best either, i've got some better lunar photos. Found a piece of software called QCFocus by the author of cartes du ciel, my favourite piece of software, and I use his software wherever possible, since I agree with his philosophy that all software should be written for the good of that person, then released to the world to improve, and it has a tool, unsurprisingly, has a focus utility, so i'll try it before investing in K3, though I don't doubt i'll move onto it soon. I also intend to get a motor focusser once I pay my dad back for the mount! Just curious, how long have you been webcamming?

Dan

Is this danwil6.freehostia.com's way of getting revenue or something? or is there something really wrong here ?

No, it isn't revenue, it's a problem. I used to use tollfreepage, but I can't understand why it's still directing, as I now use another host. I'll try to sort it out asap...
