Those are amazing images, why would you not call them solar images anymore, is it because he did alot of processing with them ? (I'm talking about the first few),
Obviously where he starts doing symmetry things and messing with colours is art.

THAT'S the key - processing images is a necessity, for photography. But he has turned them into an 'art form' by messing with vectors and multiple angle stitching and so on. Nice, but not as photographs...
