Cheers guys, been lucky the last few days.
I guess that it depends. The aurora would be caused more by flares rather than proms and these would have to be face-on. Nasa has a good indicator of auroral activity here though:

Nothing at the moment, but there are no active regions on the surface.
Would you believe I've never even seen an aurora!
