Stardate: Close Encounters was created by gnason
Hope everyone watched this interesting programme on BBC 2 tonight. Dr. Sara Russell, whom we met at the Whirlpool, featured prominently in the section on meteorites.
In the Great _UK_ Meteorite Hunt, the only promising one of the final three rocks was found by a Englishman on holiday in.............Galway!

I saw it last night also, quite ironic, maybe the Connacht starparty organisers could organise a combing of the local beaches with metal detecters on the Saturday eveing if the sky is not clear.
