Comet Holmes, Tuttle and Quadrantids meteor shower was created by ei5fk
Observed 8P Tuttle for the first time tonight near Triangulum, comet Holmes also, both with binoculars, too cold to setup scope, Quadrantids meteor shower peaks later tonight, guess between 1 and 7am
According to spaceweather.com, it may be the best meteor shower of 2008

No snow down this way but bitterly cold Carl.......
Hi Tony, took a bit of finding, its smaller and not as bright as Holmes but easy enough to find once you use Triangulum to find it, though it took me long enough to find Triangulum, getting rusty here, happy new year to all

Damn i almost forgot about the Quadrantids. Last time i checked the sky was clear so i may just have a look out a bit later for them.
