Carrying around my 20" obsession is going to kill me,
but what a way to go.
+ 12"LX200, MK67, Meade2045, 4"refractor

Great shots considering the conditions, I also find that whan I use the tripod for the 4", that the camera is very vulnerable the any kind of wind or
vibration when imageing with the 300D.
How did you find focusing, did you get it first go or did you take a number of shots.

Astronomers do it with the lights off.

For focus, I pointed the telescope at Sirius and using the viewfinder and adjusted untill I got the smallest image.
