A minor lunar eclipse on New Year's Eve (Earths umbra just clips the limb of the lunar disc). Also as this will be the second full-moon to occur in the same calendar month it is not only a "blue moon" but an unusal one.
Its just such a fluke (but of very little value) I thought I'd share it.
