More images of AR1785 from this morning - 6th July.
White Light taken with: TEC140, Baader Cool Ceramic Herschel Wedge, 2x barlow and DMK41 camera.
H-Alpha taken with TEC140, Coronado Solarmax 90, 2x barlow and DMK41 camera.
2,000 frames recorded and processing done in Autostakkert2 and Photoshop.
Earth show to scale.
I left these in B/W to enhance the contract

Here is a shot of the group taken with a Skylux 70mm refractor I took yesterday, with Baader solar (white) filter and T-mounted Canon 350D, 1/4,000th of a second at prime focus, black and white. North is c. 10:30 position.

I love seeing the images of these AR's so HUGE so detailed. Great images Michael and Seanie
Over the last few days I have been drawing this , even tho sometimes the seeing is not good at all.
