Got up early this morning and tried to observe the comets.
ISON was a disappointment - less said about that the better.
Lovejoy proved far better. Worth checking out.
Below is a photo I took:
2min exposure, Canon 60d, ISO1600, 100mm focal length.

yea, that was my opinion of it a few mornings ago aswell.
I think ison isn't going to be anything special until after perihelion, thats assuming it survives the encounter.

Excellent shot of Lovejoy
I hope to sketch it soon as myself and a clear night fit my life.
Got up several times at 4am but so far have not been lucky with haze and thin cloud.
