Light Pollution program on RTE was created by carlobeirnes
RTE RADIO 1's show The Green Light ( www.rte.ie/radio1/thegreenlight ) is running a piece on light pollution on Thursday at 8pm (Sept 27).

AI was recently approached by the Green Party on this subject and we are starting a campaign against light pollution.

LIGHT POLLUTION - Astronomy Ireland is starting a campaign about the problem of artificial lighting of the night sky. As well as restoring the natural beauty of the heavens for people interested in star-gazing we will be helping the environment and saving millions of euros of tax payers money. For details or to get involved email lp@astronomy.ie

Good to have you on board. ILPAC has been working with the Green Party since about 2003 on this.
