Most Pointless lighting ever? was created by michael_murphy
I saw this in the lane outside our office this morning (yes, I was in at work on Saturday sad, sad, sad). Does this get the prize?
The photo isn't the clearest but the light is above the blue door. It looks like a standard light that people use to light up the front or back garden.
Albert - do you know how much heat these units put out?
I can't wait for it to be used in winter, I recon it'll be a sure fire cure for seasonal affected disorder!!.

At least its pointing straight down, probably overkill for such a small lane.

I have 4 similar lights around my house and all are pointed directly downwards apart from the one nearest the scope which I pulled the bulb out off since the cats kept setting it off. I have all the others set for 10 seconds only except the front door..........there is always a first time that you lock the keys to the house inside the observatory. Padlocks are cheap but waking the wife up at 3am costs BIG TIME.
