Comet Jacques was created by Fermidox
Now visible through 15x70s east of The Kids in Auriga. That's my 5th binocular comet in little over a year Hope the Oort cloud hasn't been overly perturbed...

Congratulations, Fermidox. Just remind me -you are in the west of Ireland.
I wonder what its magnitude is at the moment.
It's amazing you saw it after all the rain on Saturday.
Aubrey.

Beautiful weather in west Cork at the moment and I got a look at Jacques last night too. It is approx 6th or 7th magnitude and has a comet-like shape, but no more than a hint of a stubby tail was visible. I'll post a fuller report later.
